The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) - MRT3 EDSA Line, through the DOTC-MRT3 Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) intends to apply the sum of Nine Million Pesos (P9,000,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for the supply and delivery of not less than Seven Hundred Eighty One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty (781,250) pieces of Magnetic Tickets. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically be rejected at bid opening.
The DOTC-MRT3 BAC now invites bids for the Supply and Delivery of Magnetic Tickets for the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) - MRT3 EDSA Line. Delivery of Magnetic Tickets is required within forty five (45) Calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
Prospective bidders should have at least three (3) supply records in the mass rail transit the last three (3) years and have completed within the last three (3) years a single contract that is similar to the contract to be bid, and whose value must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary "pass/fail" criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act".
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting on 12 November 2010 until 01 December 2010 from DOTC-MRT3 BAC Secretariat located at MRT3 Depot, North Ave. EDSA, North Triangle Area, Quezon City upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Twenty-Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00).
